Dr. Gupta is a former Joint Director General of Civil Aviation, India. He has more than 35 years of experience in various facets of aviation viz. design & development of aircraft, aircraft engineering, air transport, flight safety, flight operations, air navigation and aviation environment. During his tenure, he has worked on various committees of Ministry of Civil Aviation, Ministry of DoNER and DGCA on policy formulation to ensure safe, secure and sustainable growth of aviation sector in the country. He is also an ISO 9001 Auditor QMS; AS 9100D Auditor Aerospace QMS; ISO 14064 Auditor GHG Accounting & Verification and ICAO LEEDOAI Expert.
He continues to be very actively involved in the sector acting as advisor to numerous industry players.
Mr. Khanna is a veteran of the public affairs industry. In his over three decades of experience he has worked in the field of aviation, defense, infrastructure and hospitality.
He has been a serial entrepreneur, having set up Friday Content Solutions, an information services company that served over 300 clients, then Avian Media, a PR firm and later Chase India, a public policy consulting company.
Mr. Khanna regularly writes for various publications like The Times of India, The Hindustan Times, The Telegraph, Outlook, Verve and Architectural Digest. He keeps a keen eye on the arts and was on the Advisory Board of the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi.
With over 20 years of experience across government relations, policy advocacy, and communications, Manash has deep understanding about India’s regulatory environment and processes. Throughout his career, Manash has worked closely with members of Parliament (MPs) across the political spectrum, including serving as the lead campaign manager. Before establishing Chase India, Manash was head of public affairs at Avian Media (now Avian WE), overseeing a team of public policy communicators from its New Delhi office. With his deep expertise in running global campaigns, Manash has led successful advocacy and social impact campaigns for many Fortune 500 companies and global philanthropic organisations.
As a passionate table tennis player, Manash has played at the national level; he has also found a new love for soccer. He currently lives in New Delhi, with his wife and two sons.
Capt. Mittra currently serves as the Senior Vice President - Flight Operations at Indigo Airlines. He has over 20,000 hours of flying and flies as a DGCA Designated Examiner on the Airbus 320. He has been an integral part of IndiGo ever since its inception in 2006.
He started his aviation career as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with Indian Airlines and later qualified to become an Airbus 300 Flight Engineer. Thereafter, he acquired a Commercial Pilot’s License and has flown Boeing 737-200 and A320 planes with Indian Airlines. He went on to gain international exposure and worked with pilots from different cultures and nationalities while flying for Air Lanka from 1994 to 1997.
Mr. Nitin Mantri is a dynamic leader in the world of communications. He’s the Group CEO of Avian WE and the President of International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO). He was the President of the Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) for five years - from 2015 to 2020.
Nitin’s experience of over two decades in diverse sectors and his ability to mitigate crisis and train the C-suite in managing the media helped Avian win clients for life. Before joining Avian, Nitin worked at Brodeur/Pleon (now Ketchum), a Europe-based public relations and communications consultancy that belongs to the Omnicom Group, in London. He was responsible for Pleon’s UK operations.
He is on advisory board of The School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe), an institute dedicated to the development of education and research in reputation management.
He received the ‘Global PR Leader of the Year’ award at the 2015 ICCO Global Awards for his contribution to the PR industry. Nitin lives in New Delhi with his wife and two children.
Manavendra has a diverse background having spent much of his initial career in the financial services industry.
For the last few years, he has worked in the social sector helping create policy and execute programs on the ground. He has worked in the field of education, skilling, employability, and aviation. His last assignment was with CII.
Dhananjay is a public policy professional who works with clients in the space of aviation and urban mobility. He has undertaken strong and impactful advocacy initiatives on behalf of the clients as well as overseeing their engagement with all relevant stakeholders within the policy eco-system.
Dhananjay is passionate about the aviation sector and regularly keeps himself updated with the latest changes that take place within this space. He also has a keen interest in politics and international relations.
He holds a degree in law from Christ University, Bangalore and a post-graduation degree in international relations from O.P Jindal Global University, Sonipat. As an ardent football fan, he likes to spend his time watching the games of his favorite team.
