ABOUT WELDED STEEL TUBING

It is one of the core processed ways in which we manufacture precisely welded steel tubing with high-quality tubing that starts off with a flat strip of metal. We use rollers and join for the strip to form into a tube.
TYPES OF WELDED STEEL TUBING:

Here we are listing few types for welded –tubes to give more wide understanding on the same:
Rectangular Hollow:

It also comes in different specifications, sizes & wall thicknesses. It has long breadth than that of a square section. Its weigh to strength ratio, is higher as compared to other sections. It bent easily but takes more time. It is also inexpensive & good to use for all sort of projects. The cause of the deformation of rectangular tube welding.
Square Hollow:

Square steel inherits different sizes, specifications & wall thicknesses. It is also named as hot dip galvanized square tube. It uniformly makes it ready to use & makes it visually appealing. It has a very high weight-to-strength ratio, easy to blend into any shape, and is not much expensive because of square steel tubing, it is cost efficient. It has a large diameter & square edges.
Stainless Steel Oval Tube:

They are offered in grades 304 & 316, they have a wide range of sizeable choices. & with a very large range on the shelf. It is majorly used in construction business & upholstery development. It is usually manufactured using cold drawn welding method.
Oval Tubes, Flat Oval & Elliptic Tube:

One is the elliptic tube & the other the flat oval type. Oval tubes are mainly manufactured with a diameter ranges from 1, 0 – 3, 0 mm. Different wall thickness, materials & surfaces as well as lengths can be produced on special requirements. These steel oval tubes are endurable & long lasting life span. They are extensively used in various industrial & engineering applications.

Difference between Welded Vs Seamless Tubing:
WELDED tube is having competitive pricing with respect to seamless tube & is readily available for long lengths. The seamless tube is extruded & drawn from a billet. Besides this, the welded tube is produced from a strip that is roll formed & welded to produce a tube.

The working pressure of welded tube is 20% less beside seamless tube. When we talk about potential impurities, which reduce the corrosion resistance of the finished tube. The weld area is considered to be inhomogeneous and exhibiting different malleability & less corrosion resistance as well as greater dimensional variations. Drawing welded tubes reduces these anomalies.

Most of the tubing either (seamless & welded) is generally drawn to produce final dimensional tolerances. Drawing is one of the operations that will pull a tube through a die. There is various method for drawing a tube, however, they can be thought of as plug drawn or sunk drawn. Differences can be seen on the ID surface roughness.

Typically seamless tubes are manufactured with specific wall thicknesses e.g. schedule 40, schedule 80. With respect to large sizes, we can find seamless tube thicknesses other than the standard schedules e.g. 1/4″ or 3/8″.

MATERIAL USED

We as welded steel tubing manufacturer use good quality raw materials.Heat exchangers with shell diameters of 10 inches to more than 100 are typically manufactured to industry standards. Commonly, 0.625 to 1.5″ tubing used in exchangers is made from low carbon steel, Admiralty, copper, copper-nickel, stainless steel, Hastelloy, Inconel, or titanium.High-quality electro-resistance welded tubes display good grain structure at the weld joints. Extruded tubes with fins & interior rifling are specified for certain heat transfer applications. Often, surface enhancements are added to increase the available surface, aid in fluid turbulence, thereby increasing the operative heat transfer rate.

We do comply with same day shipping of goods policy once we get approved confirmed order receipts from respective or potential clients. We make world class buying experience for clients. So that the client will revert back with sound feedback and this will leads to reimbursement of bulk orders and mouth to mouth marketing for our esteemed group.

We are fully equipped with complete operational support in exporting and can also shipped to the client’s home countries in no time thru our esteemed business partners for fine qualitative products to over 45 countries around the world, including UAE, UK, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Serbia, Kuwait, Peru, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Denmark, Turkey, Egypt, Venezuela, Kuwait, Madagascar, Angola & Sri Lanka.

These are used in several applications across different industries:

Aircraft parts & racing cars

These tubes are fitted on the wing of an aircraft in order to measure the aircraft speed.

Some major industrial applications:

It include measuring liquid flow and air flow in tubes and channels, ducts, and stacks during construction.

We as welded steel tubing supplier give good care in packaging of finish goods (welded steel tubing). We usually recommend to do surface cleaning to remove all impurities within the stock. When it get dried up, then later on it is used to wrap within with thin layered plastic sheets. All the required ends are protected by plastic cap to avoid any unexpected damages with respect to transition from one place to another during transit. At last but not the least the tubing is bundled with bubble wrap followed by colored plastic goonies or set of bundles. The outer rope is tied to protect the tubing which are packed in wooden box as final finishing to the qualitative packaging. We follow all this process so that the customer will able to track or identified its ordered product safely at receiving end. We are giving emphasis on packing as much as production and like to make seamless buying experience for customer. We provide tube with required documents prior to dispatch of tube from home mill unit, such as packing list, commercial invoice, Test Reports, HS Code, Country of Origin attested by chamber of commerce, Fumigation Certificate, Warranty Letter, and Base Material Certificates. On client request we also provide a free sample kit against purchase order copy. The client just need to click on “Request your free sample kit now!” button on our digital online web link.

Major factors that increase the pace of production:

Physical size of the tubes.

Tube diameter, material & wall thickness.

Type odd cutoff & length of the weld.

Weld power/drive power availability

Accumulator capacity.

Horsepower available.

Electric Resistance Welding (ERW):
ERW – Electric Resistance Welding, is nothing but a rotary copper electrode, which is used for mild steel tube ranges from 0.250 to 0.375 inch in diameter. This process is suitable for the smallest diameters, as the impeders needed for high freq. welding cannot fit into the tiny tubes. Welding transformer rotates, the copper electrodes come into contact with the tube edges, heating them so that they can be welded.
High-frequency Welding (HFW):

400 series & even 300 series of stainless steel are suitable for HF Welders if the tubing is for decorative speed. 95% of the HF welders sold are in solid state, using transistors to generate the alternative frequency current. Researchers have been undertaken to weld products less than 1/4th inch in diameter & to extend the ability of the welder to produce a pressure quality weld on 300 stainless steel at high line speeds. Compared to other processes.
Laser Welding:

Laser Welding is costlier than GTAW, but it is faster. It is mainly used for exotic metals & 300 series stainless steel, though some manufacturers use it on 400 series stainless steel tube welding. Laser welding produces the smallest heat-affected zone (HAZ) & a bend even smaller. Since there is almost no change in the grain structure of the parent metal, the finished piece has greater flexibility. This technique, edge registration is more critical.
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW):

GTAW process is nothing but the process used for pressure quality weld on 300 series stainless steel at low welding speeds. It produces a good and strong weld with a little bend. A welding torch with a tungsten tip, usually employing argon / an argon & oxygen mixture, heats the edges of the strip until the metal starts to melt, & the next pair of roll squeezes the strip’s edges together.

The prominent tube manufacturer, Arihant Fittings is backed by all the necessary world class certification which incorporated with ISO 14001:2007, 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2004 and CE-PED 97/23/EC.

Protective Coatings replaced over field welds.

Longitudinal Stress limited by the strength of welds.

High strength & stiffness (modulus of elasticity).

Reliable because of their toughness (ductility).

Transportation & installation of steel tubes are expedited because of light.

Weight & toughness leads to tolerance for forces, deformations and impacts that fracture brittle materials.

They are versatile because of its ductility, & because of common procedures for cutting and welding.

Special sections can be fabricated to meet virtually any requirement. They can be provided in virtually any size & strength.

Steel tubes are cost effective over the design life of the tube.

Buried tubes are the “guts” of our civil engineered infrastructure — the delivery system for many of our increasing demands for supply service.

Steel tubes will figure significantly in the world’s growing infrastructures.

Buried tube must be designed which leads to both the tube and the soil embedment.
